About elastomer suspension
At Wike, we select only the best parts possible for our trailers. We selected an elastomer suspension because elastomers, unlike metal springs, reduce the amount of recoil action. With metal springs, the trailer will have the tendency to bob up and down over rough terrain. Finally with our dampened elastomers, the trailer's return bounce, is eliminated and the probability of the trailer rolling over. All this and still a smooth and comfortable ride. A word about the folding system
The "Wike Folding System" is patented and enables our trailers to fold flat instantly and become shorter at the same time. This patented mechanism shown in this little animation will fold the Wike Trailer in two seconds, however the removal of the wheels and placing them conveniently inside will take an additional five seconds. Our trailers are larger than our competitors, yet fold smaller. Yes, they will fit in the trunk of a sub-compact car.
Roll-up windows!
The roll-up side window feature in the "Wike Softie" trailer make 360 degrees of ventilation available on hot days. A roll-up front screen, roll-up side screens, and a heavy rear screen give the occupant fresh air on all four sides. The windows are tinted with UV protection and the screens are heavy duty fiberglass mesh.
